EPA clarifies dicamba rules after Ninth Circuit Court ruling

Dicamba can be used on this year’s crops, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

The agency says that farmers have until July 31st to use their existing stocks, but no further distribution or sales of Xtendimax, Engenia, or Fexapan are permitted.

Last week, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to vacate registrations of the three products.

Before the EPA’s decision, several states issued their own guidance, confusing producers and adding more volatility to the situation.
