Louisiana town pays tribute to a musical legend

A rural town in northwest Louisiana is paying tribute to a musician who was raised in the cotton fields of Franklin Parish. As Tammi Arender found out, you may not know the name Fred Carter Jr, but you’ve definitely heard his music.

“It made perfect sense to start the trail with a sign to honor Fred carter Jr. who has played with everybody on the planet.”
