All week we have been telling you about wildfires burning across North America. In fact, more fires are recorded right now than any other year at this time.

However, there is one amazing story that is making its rounds on social media from ranchers in the Texas panhandle.

Their cattle were grazing in pastures that were under fire, and the ranchers were two hours away. By the time they got there, the fire had burned all the way around the cattle but they were able to rescue cow-calf pairs.

A separate pasture was engulfed and unfortunately, it sounds like they lost a cow and calf, but the rest of the herd was safe. They call it a miracle, and they credit prayer and friends who dropped everything to save their animals.
