Lawmakers want friendlier foreign fertilizer supplies as prices continue to climb

U.S. farmers need foreign fertilizer and GOP lawmakers want U.S. Trade Rep Katherine Tai to find more friendly and trust suppliers.

Senators say we will likely lose supply from Russia and Belarus, and with tariffs on Morocco, another major producer, there will be much more competition to get fertilizer, so it is critical to think about 2023 now.

This comes as three fertilizers, DAP, MAP, and UAN32 are at all-time highs.
