In the history of country music, there are names that just stand out as a pillar of the art form: Hank, Cash, Willie, Cline, Wynette, and Conway. Waylon Jennings is no exception.
He was a pioneer of the Outlaw Country movement and throughout his career, he released more than 80 albums and charted more than 50 singles. He also found great success with the iconic Highwaymen group.
Sadly, on February 13, 2022, the country legend passed away at the age of 60.
His legacy still holds today, not only from the mark he left on the genre but also from his family members. In June of this year, Country Rebel celebrated the Hoss’s birthday by bringing together family and friends to play some of the legend’s most iconic songs! It was all hosted by Waylon’s grandson, Whey Jennings.
