We are getting a closer look at how Hurricane Milton impacted Florida’s strawberry crop.
The hurricane’s path passed through a fair amount of Florida’s berry production and damage assessments are ongoing.
Florida’s strawberry season typically begins in November and the stakes are high for shippers looking for supplies after Helene wiped out a large amount of the crop in south Georiga. Shippers say that thankfully a steady supply of fruit is still coming out of California.
