A Washington family recently traveled to Denver, Colorado to show two pigs in the Junior Market Swine Division.
They checked into a hotel a day early to allow the animals to rest before the show. When they awoke Sunday morning, the truck, generator, trailer, and pigs were nowhere to be found.
A police report was filed and insurance was contacted, but for the family, the well-being of the animals was their top concern.

“Our boys put in a lot of hard work and they spend a lot of hours with their animals, and you really create a bong with those animals,” the mother said, according to 9 News.
Thankfully, there was an update in the case Tuesday and the spot barrow and brown barrow were returned to the Lee family.
Denver police have not yet released details of the update, and no arrests have been made.
