Most teenagers pick up jobs at restaurants, babysitting, or even doing work on the farm, but 14-year-old Willow Larson chose a different, unique path. She has created a special niche business celebrating small towns with coffee mugs, because everyone loves coffee and celebrating their hometown, right?

One example is a mug designed for Esrkine, Minnesota, a northwestern community of about 400 people. It showcases a picture of a local café and fishing on the lake. Willow told KARE 11, “Nobody really had anything for small towns. So, I decided to do these, and people loved them.”

You can find these cups in three dozen shops in North Dakota and Minnesota. In the past six months, she has sold more than 1,000. She has a waiting list of 15 owns to add to 50 communities she has already featured on her cups.
