Monte Warden is a seventh-generation Texan and a two-time member of the Texas Music Hall of Fame.
He has had cuts by everyone from Josh Turner to George Jones, and his band is set to release their sophomore album, Jackpot! on May 17th.
He stopped by RFD-TV Studios to talk with Tammi Arender about his career background, what all went into the new record, re-recording a George Strait hit, and what listeners can expect form the new album.
He also stuck around to perform his song, “Waxahachie Hoochie Coo.”
