A growing population of grizzly bears is threatening the livelihood of Montana farmers, but farm dogs have proven success at protecting both people and predators.

Dr. Julie Young with Utah State University joined RFD-TV’s Jennifer Vickery-Smith to discuss the threat that bears pose to agriculture in the region, the success she has seen with livestock guardian dogs, and the biggest takeaway from her research.
