Farmers and ranchers face a lot of unknowns right now. Executives at Modern Ag Alliance warn the list of challenges is growing.
They point to several issues, like the growing number of farm bankruptcies. The Farm Bureau reports 216 farms filed for Chapter 12 Bankruptcy last year, which is a 55 percent jump from 2023. An even more alarming issue they say surrounds the threat of losing glyphosate. They say it has been under attack for some time now, but remains a critical tool for farmers.
