The now viral goat that has been leading a small ag community on a weeks-long search has been brought home.
The Willacy County Livestock Show and Fair let us know late last night that Willy was brought back to safety by two local cowboys. Ricardo Rojas III and Sammy Ambriz were able to round up the goat who escaped back on the 15th.
The search has brought the small Texas community together who spent countless hours looking high and low for the escapee.
The Fair’s director was on Market Day Report yesterday as the search was underway. She says it was heartwarming to see the residents come together and do what rural communities do best. The county is home to just 20,000 residents. Search teams were formed who looked for Willy on horseback, ATV’s, and even drones.
