An interesting pair found their way to the Wake County Animal Center in North Carolina earlier this month.
Cinnamon, a female goat, and Felix, a male bulldog, were handed over to the center after their previous owner fell ill and was no longer able to take care of the dynamic duo.
It was an all-hands-on-deck kind of effort to find the friends their forever home because Cinnamon and Felix are inseparable!
Thankfully, a farm family stepped up and took in the pair. “I’m so excited they will be living their dream life in Johnston County with their new family. The Wake County Animal Center has a fantastic rescue network and they focused on the best solution for the after getting custody of them. This was the best outcome we could hope for,” Shinica Thomas, chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners stated, CBS 17 reports.
The animal center has worked with the family before, and they already have a small goat herd of their own.
“We are so grateful for this support from our community and partners. This was possible due to all the continuous efforts of our staff, volunteers, and community. This unbelievable duo will live together and enjoy their friendship,” Dr. Jennifer Federico with the animal center added.
