Jason Brackner, Thorsby, AL FFA chapter representative, speaks with RFD-TV about chapter activities and accomplishments.
The Thorsby FFA chapter plays an essential role in its local community. They use their education to landscape the school building, creating a welcoming and friendly environment for fellow students. Chapter members also visit with local veterans in the area to let them know they are not forgotten and to offer the aging men company. Every year the chapter hosts a teacher appreciation breakfast to thank the educators at their school.
These members are taking the FFA motto, “Living to Serve,” to heart and exemplifying it within their community.
