TN veterinarian discusses case of atypical BSE confirmed in the state

A case of atypical BSE was confirmed in a cow with ties to Tennessee.

It appeared unwell arriving at a packing company in South Carolina, and was then isolated and euthanized.
USDA says that it does not expect any trade impact.

Tennessee State Veterinarian Dr. Samantha Beaty spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on the situation, the threat it poses to livestock, and what producers should keep in mind.
