WASHINGTON, D.C. (RFD News) — USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service has launched AgInsights, a new tool designed to make agricultural data easier to access and analyze.
The platform is part of NASS’s broader modernization effort, bringing data, charts and maps together in a single web-based interface. Users can sort and filter information, explore interactive visualizations and access the platform on mobile devices.
AgInsights also uses data from NASS’s Quick Stats database while providing a more visual option for users. The agency says the new platform could eventually replace older applications that are more costly to maintain.
NASS developed the tool with feedback from an initial group of agricultural data users representing different commodity sectors.
