USDA’s APHIS launches “Protect Our Pigs” campaign to prevent ASF

The USDA has launched a new campaign to protect the U.S. from African swine fever.

Protect Our Pigs will provide many different resources including posters, videos, and the latest ASF updates to the pork industry. This is just one of many ways the department’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is working to keep the disease off of U.S. borders.

If ASF reached the U.S., it is estimated it would cause $50 billion dollars in damages in just ten years.
