There is only one man who has an album appear in the Top 10 of the Billboard Country Charts in all seven decades the charts have existed, and that man is Willie Nelson.

Nelson’s 70th studio album First Rose of Spring was released on July 3 and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Country Charts on July 18.

Billboard began charting country music in 1964 and Nelson first made the Top 10 two years later in 1966. Since then, he has 54 total Top 10 albums, including 19 in the 1980s alone. He has also had 17 No. 1 albums and 111 No. 1 songs.

Nelson’s most successful album on the charts was Stardust, which spent more than 10 consecutive years in the Top 100 after first appearing in May of 1978.
