Bobbie Nelson, the sister of a country legend and a talented artist in her own right, passed away Thursday at the age of 91.
Bobbie was born in Abbot, Texas in January of 1931. In her early years, she played piano in a band with her brother Willie. Once her brother signed his record deal, Bobbie accompanied him on his rise and added vocals to many of his hit songs.
She would release her debut solo album in 2007, titled Audiobiography, and she would be inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017.
