Madison Wisconsin will remain the home of the World Dairy Expo after a new contract was recently signed. Leaders signed a five-year contract extension to stay in the Alliant Energy Center which has hosted the event since its inception in 1967.
“It’s just so exciting, right? It is truly a privilege to be able to host the meeting place of the global dairy industry right here in Madison, Wisconsin. There’s so much history for the dairy industry and agriculture right around the Madison area and throughout the state of Wisconsin. And really, you know, we have so many, so much strong infrastructure to support the industry that, you know, really calls itself home, but then stretches throughout the globe. So, it’s a way of bringing it all together and we’re thrilled to have this taken care of. We’re excited for the next five years and ready to get to work,” Laura Herschleb, General Manager of the World Dairy Expo said.
This year’s event will happen the first week in October.
