We gathered a dozen of the state’s top agricultural leaders at the North Carolina State Farmers Market and Restaurant for a top-down look (and an amazing lunch) at how people beyond the farm play a role in helping farmers do their jobs.
Our goal was to show some of the support infrastructure it takes to keep farmers going. But we wanted to make sure we had some farmers there, too, like Rob Glover.
Glover is a third-generation farmer who grows a variety of fruits and veggies, selling through normal channels and his own Rob’s Fresh Produce Market.
Here he talks about how important the other people at the table are in helping him do what he does.
But this is not just a North Carolina story. There are people just like this in your home state doing what they can to help keep you fed. See how they do it Friday night at 9:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. only on RFD-TV!
