You can catch coverage of the 2022 Rose Parade again!

If you missed our Rose Parade float showcasing the Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, you can catch it all again later this month!

Take a look at all the hard work that went into putting it together! It is all done by hand too, thanks to the help of volunteers.

We will air all our coverage again on Martin Luther King Day, two weeks from now.

Viewer Ron Wilson says that our coverage inspired him to write a poem:

On New Year’s Day, it’s become our family tradition

To gather round the television for a special exhibition.

It’s the Rose Bowl Parade, as well as Equestfest,

And RFD-TV is the channel to see it best.

The Tournament of Roses Parade is what we love tuning in,

Looking forward to the moment when the display will begin.

The floral décor’s amazing as seen on creative floats,

For city, business or organization that each one of them denotes.

Then comes the marching bands with precision to enthrall,

But it really is the horses that I love the most of all.

The horses are just beautiful, so well-groomed and well-trained.

The costumes are so colorful, with many diverse styles:

From Cavalry to Hawa’iian, each one will bring us smiles.

And after the parade, to the Cowboy Channel I go,

To see Equestfest as horse and riders put on a show.

For us on New Year’s Day, there’s no better place to be,

Than seeing Rose Bowl Parade and Equestfest on RFD-TV.
