Young Producers Take Center Stage at Arkansas State Fair

Livestock shows and FFA exhibits give visitors an up-close look at the state’s agriculture industry.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (RFD-TV) — The Arkansas State Fair is underway, giving some of the state’s youngest producers a chance to showcase their livestock and skills.

Exhibitors have spent the year preparing their animals for the show ring, while visitors can explore the barns and learn more about the state’s agriculture.

FFA students are also leading the Ag in Action Center, giving fairgoers another opportunity to learn about the industry.

Agriculture is Arkansas’ largest industry, adding more than $25 billion to the state’s economy and supporting nearly one in seven jobs.

The Arkansas State Fair runs through Oct. 25.
