As we have previously reported, Dicamba has found itself in many courtrooms around the nation.
One Missouri farmer received over $200 million dollars in his court case and hundreds of other similar lawsuits have been filed, including a multi-district case brought by 35 farmers.
Brigit Rollins from the National Agricultural Law Center believes that the Missouri ruling may be a look at how other claims will be handled. The lawsuits center around crop damage, market monopolies and environmental harm.
Monsanto and BASF say that they will appeal any verdict that ends unfavorably.
