A Tree in Every House: Angel Tree Farms embodies the “Season of Giving” in their Pennsylvania community

For this tree farm in Alburtis, the holiday season is about more than profits. Instead, they are embodying the spirit of Christmas charity by offering trees to local families at whatever price point they can afford.

Angel Tree Farms, nestled in Alburtis, Pennsylvania, is more than just a place to pick out a Christmas tree — they are also creating a heartwarming tale of community spirit and generosity. In a unique twist, the family-owned farm is offering Christmas trees on a donation basis, creating a feel-good atmosphere that extends far beyond its festive decorations.

Bill Paules, the farm’s owner, shared with local news that the decision to forego price tags on the trees is intentional. The aim is to encourage customers to contribute whatever they can, fostering a sense of collective giving and support for a greater cause – the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley.

Now in its fourth year, Angel Tree Farms has become a symbol of holiday goodwill. Beyond the Christmas trees, the farm extends its generosity to discounted items and collaborations with local organizations, weaving a tapestry of community involvement and shared joy.

In the face of challenges familiar to farmers everywhere, Paules emphasizes the farm’s commitment to making a positive impact on families during the holiday season. Despite the hurdles, the joy derived from community engagement outweighs any difficulties. Telling the news source, “This time of the year, man, oh man, when you see a kid smile when they see Santa, or they’re getting a tree and they’re excited about Christmas time…there is nothing better than seeing someone else’s joy. It’s incredible. And it’s infectious.”
