President Trump says that coronavirus aid talks are back on, after previously saying they were postponed until after the election. It is a glimmer of hope for farm groups, who say that there is a need for immediate relief.
Rob Larew, the president of the National Farmers Union, spoke with RFD-TV’s own John Jenkinson on what they are calling for with the next aid package and the impact that would come from any further delay.
“We’ve been excited and glad to have the aid that’s been directly delivered to farmers, there are still some gaps there.,” he said. “We’re glad that we’ve had the agriculture aid and will continue to make sure it’s being delivered out there in the way that it should.”
