Ag is coming together to donate to Hawaii relief efforts

Several ag lenders are stepping up to help residents of Hawaii as wildfires wreak havoc on the island.

American Ag Credit, CoBank, and Farmer Mac are donating $40,000 to the Maui Food Bank. Farm Credit has had a presence in Hawaii for more than 50 years. Leaders say they are proud to offer help and resources to the ag community there. They hope to continue that and help increase food security as residents and farmers work to rebuild. So far, officials say more than 100 people have died in that wildfire.
