A grieving Alabama father honored his daughter’s memory by bringing a Christmas tree farm to Children’s of Alabama so hundreds of kids could have their own trees to decorate.
Mark Miller, with the help of his colleagues at Ace Hardware, gathered more than 340 trees from 30 different stores. Each child also got their own ornaments as well.
Miller’s daughter Mary Beth died at the age of 7 and he knows the pain of spending the holidays without a child or having a sick child in the hospital over the holidays.
The Christmas trees also came with an accompanying visit from Santa and fake snow.
