All About: California Bountiful
“California Bountiful” brings you up close with the people, places, food and farms that make California so delicious! The weekly show delivers a fun, entertaining and educational look at California’s farm to fork lifestyle, and everything in between.
Brought to you from the California Farm Bureau Federation, the show also shares the unique stories of the family farmers and ranchers who grow the foods you love to eat.
We take you to the farms and ranches of California’s rural communities to put a face and voice to the people behind the commodities you enjoy. The show also takes you behind the scenes with stories to highlight the gamut of how food gets to your table, and the many ways it’s used, prepared & shared, reflecting the Golden State’s diverse communities. In addition, there are cooking segments featuring some of California’s most talented chefs, along with diet and nutrition facts, plus produce and gardening segments giving viewers the dish on everything from picking the best cherry to planting a home garden.
Veteran Host and Executive Producer, Aubrey Aquino joined the show in 2022 and brings energy, enthusiasm, and a relatable insight to her stories. She is passionate about sharing the amazing stories that highlight the bounty of her home state.
The focus of California Bountiful is sharing agriculture and farmer stories in a fresh and exciting way, using a lifestyle perspective. The show is geared toward engagement of all audiences, to highlight the agricultural connections between consumers living in both urban and rural areas.
Originally known as The Voice of Agriculture, the show was created and launched in 1964, but changed its name to California Bountiful in 2012, to appeal to all viewers and reflect the bounty of the state.
