American Seed Trade Association emphasizes the need for research programs in the 2023 Farm Bill

The need for seed research programs was underscored in this week’s Farm Bill hearing.

Dr. Katy Martin Rainey highlighted how efforts to ensure a secure ag production system started with quality seed.

She spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison about what their message was, the value of Farm Bill funding for emerging innovations in crop improvement, and if she feels like her voice was heard.
