Arkansas Secretary of Ag offers update on conditions following once-in-a-generation weather event!

“The flood waters are starting to recede... over the next week or so, we’ll be very busy with clean up.”

Heavy rains and tornadoes have spanned several states over the past few days. Many producers are now working to recover from what the National Weather Service has called a “once in a generation event.”

Arkansas Secretary of Agriculture, Wes Ward spoke with RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander on current conditions in the state, what areas were impacted, and possible ripple effects.
