A Missouri court has ruled in favor of Bayer in a trial regarding claims that its Roundup weed killer causes cancer.
The verdict marks the third trial win for Monsanto, purchased by Bayer in 2018, which has been dealing with a wave of lawsuits. The company is now asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a $25 million dollar ruling, where a California man blamed Roundup herbicide for giving him cancer.
