Being “mask police” may be the food service industry’s biggest challenge

The food service industry says that it is struggling with new mask recommendations.

The CDC announced fully vaccinated people do not have to wear masks anymore which helps customers, but not necessarily businesses.

The National Restaurant Association says that it has no guidance on how to be “vaccine police” and this could be the industry’s biggest challenge yet. Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and Costco are some of the first to drop customer mask mandates.
