Biofuel groups lost their case against the EPA regarding retroactive small refinery waivers, but there is a slight victory.
An appeals court also rejected four arguments from refiners who claim economic harm in making biofuel blends.
The court sent the 2019 Volumes Rule back to EPA, saying it did not take into account the impact of endangered species. The Renewable Fuels Association says that it is pleased with the ruling.
