Biofuel groups want more action from Congress in the Farm Bill

The biofuels industry is keeping a close eye on the happenings in Washington. After some recent setbacks, they are hoping the Farm Bill can be an avenue to make progress.

The Advanced Biofuels Association recognizes that discussions around the five-year legislation have been tense this time around but there have been some promising amendments, like ones to make bigger moves on sustainable aviation fuel.

The group is also calling on Congress to increase spending for bio-refineries and hopes to see a boost in research that can increase domestic refining capacity.
