Bobby Marquez’s Country with Heart Benefit is on its 11th year of helping St. Jude’s

Rural communities often face barriers to health care access, with travel expenses for specific treatments being a big challenge. Fortunately, St. Jude provides travel and lodging for families as their children undergo care.

To help with the fundraising process, the annual Country with Heart Benefit event is takng place next Saturday, as country artists come together to help raise money for the kids of St. Jude.

Singer-songwriter and founder and organizer of the event, Bobby Marquez stopped by the studio to talk about how it started, how St. Jude helps kids in need, and what to expect from the event.
