Springtime means a change in weather, which will mean floods along the Missouri River. As many ranchers and farmers recover from flooding in 2019, the Missouri Farm Bureau is helping these Missouri River communities prepare.
Dan Cassidy, the Chief Administrative Officer for the MOFB, has been helping by holding ‘Flood Ready Meetings’. These meetings allow communities to hear from experts, learn the best cautionary measures to take, and for full Q and A’s. Cassidy would go on to state that farmers have taken many preventative measures since last years floods, but farmers are still feeling the hit from lost of income and recovery costs.
