The current soybean world record holder does it again!

Georgia producer, Randy Dowdy, has set another soybean yield record, breaking it twice at179.41 and again at 190.23 bushels. He is also the previous corn world record holder.

Dowdy says the key to record yields was finding a way to manage stress on soybean plants. He runs center pivot irrigation systems equipped with injection pumps while soil moisture probes & sensors are placed at multiple locations.

“We feel like this year God blessed us with the right conditions... ”

Dowdy insists his yield success is a collaborative effort. He worked with the Hefty Brothers at Ag Ph.D. They will be explaining this awesome achievement on Rural America Live on October 3rd at 8pmET/7pmCT
