Payments from the second round of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program are rolling out.

More than 443,000 applications have been approved so far and more than $7.5 billion dollars has gone out to the various sectors.

Acreage-based crops have been awarded slightly more than half of the funds, at nearly $4 billion dollars.

More than $2 billion dollars has gone to livestock, almost $800 million dollars for dairy, and roughly $844 million for sales commodities.

Iowa has received more funding than any other state, and corn and cattle lead the commodities.
