CMA Fest sitdown with singer-songwriter Ernest

CMA Fest was officially back this past weekend! To kick it off we sat down with, hitmaker/rising star/triple-threat talent, Ernest.

The Nashville-native has written songs for Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, and Chris Lane, just to name a few. He has found much success as a writer and is now making his mark with his solo career.

He had a riverfront stage performance lined up and we asked him what it meant for him to be playing one of Music City’s biggest events. We also touched on his latest hit “Flower Shops,” which has more than 40 million streams on Spotify and millions of views on YouTube.

Earlier that week, he also played in the Folds of Honor charity softball game with other artists like Chris Lane, HARDY, and Riley Green. The star-studded lineup was able to raise over $65,000 dollars for families of fallen and disabled military service members. Ernest was able to pitch his team back from a nine-run deficit.

He even played an acoustic version of his song “Feet Wanna Run.
