From Thursday to Sunday, roughly 90,000 country music fans hit Broadway to see all their favorite artists and future up-and-comers.
We were able to catch up with one of country music’s brightest new stars and our friend Mackenzie Carpenter!
She is a CMT Next Women of Country Music class of 2023 member, has made her Grand Ole Opry debut, and even written with Megan Moroney!
Mackenzie spoke with us about her journey, the story behind “Sound of a Heartbreak,” and how having talented friends in her corner makes for good competition!
