Cody Easterday, convicted scammer, is suing Tyson over unfair practices
The rancher in prison for a multi-million dollar “ghost cattle” scheme is now suing the company he admitted to defrauding.
Cody Easterday is serving 11 years in prison for scamming Tyson Foods and another company. He took $44 million for cattle that did not exist.
Easterday is now suing Tyson, claiming unfair and anti-competitive practices that force cattlemen to sell, under abusive contracts. He wants his case to be heard by a jury and is seeking monetary compensation.
