Hundreds of millions of dollars are going toward connecting rural America.
Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack announced $700 million dollars in grants and loans for the Reconnect Program. This money will serve thousands of rural residents, farmers, and business owners in 22 states as part of President Biden’s Investing in America Agenda.
Vilsack says that keeping the people of rural America connected with reliable, high-speed internet brings new, innovative ideas to the rest of the country and creates good-paying jobs.
