Country Legend Lacy J. Dalton Marks Milestone Birthday With a Cause

The country music legend celebrated her 80th birthday with a concert benefiting her Let ‘Em Run Foundation.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD-TV) — Country music legend Lacy J. Dalton recently celebrated her 80th birthday with a concert benefiting her Let ‘Em Run Foundation, which works to protect wild mustangs in the American West.

Dalton joined us on Wednesday’s Market Day Report to discuss the celebration, titled “Not Dead Yet,” and her proposal for a national wild horse and burro reserve near Yellowstone National Park.

She hopes the proposed reserve could attract tourists and help fund the horses’ care while offering an alternative to helicopter roundups.
