Basketball icon, Michael Jordan has reached an agreement to sell his stake in the Charlotte Hornets.
The buyer group is unnamed but two of the members include North Carolina native and country music star Eric Church and fellow North Carolina native and hip-hop star J. Cole.

Church is a huge fan of North Carolina teams. This could be seen when he canceled a concert because the University of North Carolina men’s basketball team was in the NCAA Final Four.

When Jordan bought his minority stake in the team back in 2010, he paid roughly $275 million. The team now is valued at $1.7 billion dollars.
