Country singer Hal Ketchum dies at 67 years old

Country singer and Grand Ol’ Opry Member, Hal Ketchum, died from complications due to dementia on Monday. He was 67 years old.

Known for songs like, “Small Town Saturday Night”, Ketchum had been a fixture in the country music scene since the early 90’s, touring until he announced his diagnosis in April.

His wife released the following statement on Facebook:

“With great sadness and grief we announce that Hal passed away peacefully last night at home due to complications of Dementia. May his music live on forever in your hearts and bring you peace.”
