Country singer Sam Hunt was arrested for driving drunk the wrong way during East Nashville road Thursday morning, according to WKRN
The police report obtained the Nashville news station says Hunt was driving with an open container and a had a BAC of .173, more than twice the legal limit.
Hunt was allegedly swerving across lanes and smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes when police stopped him. He also struggled to provide his license when asked.
Hunt was released from jail on $2,500 bond a little over two hours after he was booked. He has a court date on Jan. 17, 2020.
