Cowboys called in to corral cattle after trailer overturns on Indiana interstate

Authorities needed the help from cowboys to wrangle livestock after a trailer carrying 54 cattle overturned on an Indianapolis interstate, NWI Times reports.

The truck and trailer were traveling from Kentucky to Iowa and crashed Monday evening, spilling its livestock local officials told NWI Times.

The cowboys used fencing to corral the cattle and trailers to transport them from the scene.

Six cattle died and one other escaped into a neighborhood before being recaptured.

The driver of the truck was hospitalized with minor injuries.
