Days After Announcing Cancer Diagnosis, Country Songwriter Jamie O’Hara Dies.

Award-winning country songwriter, Jamie O’Hara, has passed away Thursday at the age of 70.

Born in Toledo, OH, O’Hara was behind some of the most loved country songs, including Ronnie McDowell’s “Older Women” and The Judd’s “Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout the Good Old Days), as well as being one half of The O’Kanes.

Just days ago, on Jan. 4th, Moraine Music Group shared a statement from Jamie’s wife, Lola White, where she announced he had “been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer.”
