High path avian influenza has popped up in another state. This morning Delaware reported it has now been detected in a commercial poultry flock.
This marks the state’s first HPAI case since 2004.
Officials throughout the region are altering all growers, owners, and operators to enhance biosecurity practices and do everything they can to mitigate the spread.
Indiana also reported their fifth case earlier today.
